Work Progress On My New Thing!

Finally I started on a new sewing project! I am not going to tell what it is until it's finished...:)

Materials I'm using:

black jersey fabric
balck sequins (maybe I'll add gold ones, too)
thread

= easy

--> WRONG! Definitely not easy.
Problems I had so far:

bought fabric, but cut off a piece and now it's not enough fabric
can't handle the fabric decently
can't cut freakin straight
lacking self motivation (due to being sick and not wanting to move too much)

Somebody send me some kind of creative wave to get moving!!!!

12 von 12

New project... 12 von 12.

It's a blog project that someone started a while ago and I thought I'd participate from now on. My friend from outofpeonies has been doing this a long time now...Check out her's here.

It's really easy. On the 12th of every month you take as many pictures as you can. When the day is over (or finally over...) you pick 12 pictures and post them on your blog! Easy peasy!!!!

Edit: At least I thought so. Problem Nr. 1 = Not remembering, Promblem Nr. 2 = not being able to take pictures at work. ....

Inspiration

A new DIY Clothing inspiration post... It feels like I'm repinning the same things over and over again.
And I just can't find any time at all to even start on a project...

I used to start things all the time and never finished them. But now there's not even enough time to start!!!

But I still find things all the time. Hopefully I will at least have time for inspiration ....

Photokina

The biggest photo-related exhibition or fair (whatever you'd like to call it) takes place in Cologne every second year. My first time was 2010 when I got up extra early and took the train to it...
I went there with my grandma and I was completely overwhelmed not knowing what they have there and where several things are...But it was awesome!!

I even bought my first photo background. Which was the beginning of my photo-studio-equipment. I bought a foldable background with a black and a white side. It was meant to be a Christmas present but since I wanted to organize a photo shoot birthday party for my sister, I was allowed to take it home right away and to use it. Of course it's great for single portraits but for a group of 10 girls it was just a liiiiitle bit too small ;)

Well...it took place again this year and I went there with my mommy :) This time I knew where everything was and was able to tell my mom everything. The best thing was that we didn't have to walk everywhere. Just to the places I wanted to go to :)

And we bought backgrounds again!!! I had the best super-duper deal EVER! Usually, they cost 28€ per roll and I ... I'm serious... bought three for 25€!!!! I guess I was just lucky it was Sunday afternoon and the nice English man was great and my pouty-face worked :)

And nooow I'm home for the first time after 2 months in the Big City and it was just my sister's birthday again. And guess what's happening this weekend? Photo shoot birthday party!!!!

This time we'll not only have a background that is wide enough for all of the girls , but we also have different colors: black, white, champagne, seafoam and copper! I'll post some pictures afterwards :)

But here are some pictures of the fair:

Easy Zucchini Dinner

Ever since I live alone, thinking about all kinds of meals is a big part of my life (apart from money problems.........)

This is a really easy, yummy and pretty cheap and fast dinner.

Ingredients:

1 small zucchini
1/2 onion
salt
pepper
butter/oil
pan

Cut the zucchini and the onion into small pieces, heat butter or oil in a pan and add the vegetables...
Then you're pretty much done. Put some salt and pepper on it and you have an awesome dinner - YAY!

To have a little more color on your plate you can add some fresh tiny tomatoes like me !
